The purpose of this letter is to thank you for the university scholarship that I received. I felt very happy and grateful to know that I was selected as a beneficiary of the scholarship.
A los 36 años, finalmente estoy logrando mi sueño de ser maestra
Queridos señores de la Fundación Tandana,
La presente tiene la finalidad de agradecer la beca universitaria recibida, me sentí muy feliz y agradecida de saber que fui seleccionada como beneficiaria de la beca.
Mi nombre es Elvia Magdalena Muenala López ahora ya tengo 36 años vivo en la Comunidad La Banda, desde niña mi sueño era ser profesora y gracias al apoyo de la Fundación Tandana esta vez ya lo logré; estos estudios los realicé en modalidad virtual; ser madre, esposa, estudiante y trabajadora no fue nada fácil pero mi esposo siempre estuvo ahí para darme ánimo y seguir adelante. Nuevamente agradezco inmensamente la oportunidad que la Fundación me ha brindado aceptándome como beneficiaria de la beca universitaria.
Por el momento todavía sigo trabajando en el Centro de Salud Quichinche como Técnico en Atención Primaria de Salud, pero ya me inscribí en la página de educa empleo a ver si tengo la oportunidad de poner en práctica lo aprendido en licenciatura en educación.
Con la bendición de Dios en un futuro espero no muy lejano quiero alcanzar una maestría en enseñanza de la matemática.
Mi sueño es ser profesora en alguna comunidad para de esta manera contribuir con el desarrollo de mis comunidades rurales, ya que por mi trabajo he sido testigo de lo mucho que hace falta la educación en estos lugares.

At 36, I’m finally achieving my dream of being a teacher
Dear members of The Tandana Foundation,
The purpose of this letter is to thank you for the university scholarship that I received. I felt very happy and grateful to know that I was selected as a beneficiary of the scholarship.
My name is Elvia Magdalena Muenala López, now I am 36 years old and I live in the La Banda Community. Since I was a child, my dream was to be a teacher and thanks to the support of the Tandana Foundation, this time I achieved it.
I carried out these studies in a virtual format. Being a mother, wife, student, and worker was not easy but my husband was always there to encourage me to keep going. Once again, I am immensely grateful for the opportunity that the foundation has given me by accepting me as a beneficiary of the university scholarship.
At the moment I am still working at the Quichinche Health Center as a Primary Health Care Technician, but I have already registered on the education employment page to see if I have the opportunity to put into practice what I learned in my degree in education.
With God’s blessing, in the not too distant future, I hope I want to achieve a master’s degree in teaching mathematics.
My dream is to be a teacher in a community in order to contribute to the development of my rural communities, since through my work I have witnessed how much education is needed in these places.

À 36 ans, je réalise enfin mon rêve d’être enseignante
Chers membres de la Fondation Tandana,
Le but de cette lettre est de vous remercier pour la bourse universitaire que j’ai reçue. Je me suis sentie très heureuse et reconnaissante de savoir que j’avais été sélectionné comme bénéficiaire de la bourse.
Je m’appelle Elvia Magdalena Muenala López, j’ai maintenant 36 ans et j’habite dans la communauté de La Banda. Dès mon plus jeune âge, mon rêve était d’être enseignante et grâce au soutien de la Fondation Tandana, cette fois-ci je l’ai réalisé.
J’ai suivi ces études sous format virtuel. Être mère, épouse, étudiante et travailleuse n’a pas été facile, mais mon mari était toujours là pour m’encourager à continuer. Encore une fois, je suis immensément reconnaissante de l’opportunité que la fondation m’a offerte en m’acceptant comme bénéficiaire d’une bourse universitaire.
Présentement, je travaille toujours au Centre de Santé Quichinche en tant que technicienne en soins de santé primaires, mais je me suis déjà inscrite sur la page emploi en éducation pour avoir la chance de mettre en pratique ce que j’ai appris pour mon diplôme en éducation.
Avec la bénédiction de Dieu, dans un avenir pas trop lointain, j’espère obtenir une maîtrise en enseignement des mathématiques.
Mon rêve est d’être enseignante dans une communauté afin de contribuer au développement de mes communautés rurales, car à travers mon travail j’ai constaté à quel point l’éducation est nécessaire dans ces endroits.
Que Dieu bénisse tous les membres de Tandana.
